Vested Interest

vested two, originally uploaded by Hungover in Heels.

Kind of cooky outfit today, but it was very warm out and I wanted something comfy to walk the dog, go grocery shopping and work in a cafe.

The blog has suffered due to wedding activities. Sorry about that. I am having a week long family visit for Turkey Day then I will get back on track.

Just Married

Wedding 1, originally uploaded by Hungover in Heels.

If you had been wondering where I have been, we tied the knot last week, and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. Currently we are enjoying our honeymoon in Paris. I will start with regular updates again when we return to the states.

Shopping Pick: Alameda Flea Market

Alameda Flea Market, originally uploaded by Hungover in Heels.

Chockablock with used and Antique goods the Alameda Flea Market is a must. My fiancé and I spent a lovely day trying on clothes, debating on house goods, and eating really-bad-for-you food from street carts.

Warning: It is huge and there are such varied objects that it is probably for the best if you head in having an idea of what you are looking for. Also: comfortable shoes.

The next one is tomorrow so all of you Bay Area folks who have missed out, now’s your chance.

Last month returned home with a lovely set of wide vintage frames and an adorable “V” necklace made of a typewriter key.

Weekend wrap up

In-laws birthday, originally uploaded by Hungover in Heels.

Haven't posted in a bit so thought I would do a quick round up of everything I wore this weekend.

I really liked this first outfit, I wish I had a few more pics of it, oh well. I wore it for a birthday celebration at a steak house for my (soon-to-be) Father-in-law.
I had the smallest cut of meat and was still stuffed. I did start the night off with my favorite drink of choice. Dirty, Ketel One, martinini: up.

Saturday was a bit of a lazy day. Sitting around the apartment and recovering from the night before. To get some sun, my partner and I took our dog for a walk in the park, stopping for coffee on the way, natch.

Sunday was an amazing weather day for SF. We decided to take a trip over to Chrissy field and walk along the bay.

Lost in the fire, gained in the flood

Thursday night I went to see a favorite band of mine and was completely blow away by the opener: the Mynabirds. I had never heard of them before but thier music was a terrific blend of soul and retro pop .I was smitten. They also had such adorable style. I wish I had a camera with me, but alas it was empty of charge. You will have to settle for some promo shots and a song link. Lovely though, no?

And cause it's what I think I am supposed to do here. This is what I wore to the show:

Ny & Co. Dress, Gap tshirt, One Star vest.
